Eklavya Literary Research Foundation (ELRF) is a non-profit organisation (NPO), registered under the Ministry of SME, Government of India, and ISO (9001:2005) certified. It strives to quench the thirst for precise support and encouragement to the research scholars and academicians of English language and literature. The organisation promotes sharpening the talents of researchers to make the steps easier towards the door wall of their academic ambition with the professional help of academic experts. It also supports researchers and academicians in exploring the most recent research fields in academia by offering guidance and support for academic and research activities.

Foundation History

The Eklavya Literary Research Foundation derives its name and spirit from one of the most inspiring figures in Indian mythology – Eklavya, the devoted archer from the Mahabharata. Eklavya represents the power of self-learning, unwavering dedication, and the pursuit of excellence even in the absence of formal guidance or institutional support.

Like Eklavya, the founder of this foundation embarked on a journey of literary and academic exploration through self-initiative and personal perseverance. With no conventional mentorship every milestone achieved was rooted in self-study, passion, and a deep commitment to knowledge. This personal journey mirrors Eklavya’s story — one of silent strength, humility, and the relentless pursuit of learning.

The foundation was established to honour that ethos — to provide a platform for literary and academic research that values independent thought, scholarly sincerity, and inclusive intellectual growth. By choosing the name Eklavya, we pay homage to all self-learners, unsung scholars, and those who seek wisdom beyond traditional boundaries.

Today, the Eklavya Literary Research Foundation stands as a beacon for literary scholars, educators, and students who believe in the transformative power of knowledge and understanding come through hard work, effort, and self-motivation — not just from being handed information or relying solely on formal systems.

Annual Membership

₹300 ₹149

All membership holders will be given the electronic membership letter with photograph and members details will be added in our website.
Members will have privilege in the services offered by ELRF.
Registration fees : 10% concession will be given to the Life members on all programs organised by ELRF. (Conferences/Seminars/FDP's/Workshops etc)
Book publication: Subsidized rates are applicable to members who publish ISBN books with ELRF.
Fellow Membership Fees: Rs. 10,000. We will issue a certificate as a Fellow of ELRF. These details will be provided on the website.

Life Membership

₹1000

Awards Overview

The Eklavya Literary Award is the most prestigious and highest Indian literary award presented annually by Eklavya Literary Research Foundation (ELRF) to the Indian Authors, Academicians, and Scholars for their outstanding contribution towards English Language and Literature and made a meaningful difference in society through their dedication, hard work, and efforts. The awards are designed to promote literary excellence on account of William Shakespeare's birth anniversary. The awards emphasize fairness and merit-based selection to ensure deserving individuals are honored.
